Below are last minute details that you should know about the Luce Line Lace-Up this Saturday (September 14, 2019).

Welcome to the 2019 Luce Line Lace-Up Event!  We are excited to have you all here in Hutchinson area and hope you enjoy your time here if you are visiting!  We want to thank all of our volunteers and sponsors that help us put on a great event for you.

Packet pickup will be Friday, September 13th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Bobbing Bobber Brewery (3BC) at 900 MN-15, Hutchinson, Minnesota, and Saturday morning from 6:30 AM until 30 minutes prior to your race time at the Registration table in the Shelter at Masonic West River Park. You may pick up your packet at either time.

Race Times are as follows:

7:45 AM – Half Marathon
8:00 AM – 10K
9:00 AM – 5K
10:00 AM – 1-Mile

These times are planned in order to minimize runner interaction from one race to another.

If there is rain, the race will go on as scheduled. If there is lightning or a severe downpour, there will be a delay in the race until the lightning or downpour has subsided or has safely passed.

Please note that during the awards we will be drawing for several small door prize packages.  You must be present to win, so we hope you can stay.

Bib Number:

1. You will be assigned a bib number at packet pick up.
2. Runner must wear bib number on the front at the finish line to help us capture your time correctly.
3. Bib numbers do NOT need to be returned.

Course markings:

1. The course is marked with signs, cones, and volunteers.
2. Direction arrows are color-coded for each race.
3. It is your responsibility to know the course.  Course maps will be posted near the registration area.

Half-Marathon – start 7:45 AM

1. We have four water stops that you will pass at least twice during the race, making the water available every 1-2 miles.  These stops will have water and sports drink available.
2. Volunteers will be at most turns directing runners
3. There will be a lead bike and a sweep vehicle.  The sweep vehicle will have water and can aid runners in case of emergency.
4. An EMT team will be available near the registration area.
5. Please use care running on the grass section of the Crow River Winery as the ground can be a bit uneven.

10K – start 8:00 AM

1. We have one water stop that you will pass twice during the race, near the 2½ and 4½ – mile marks.  There will also be water and sports drink available at the finish line.
2. Volunteers will be at most turns directing runners
3. There will be a lead bike and a sweep bike who can contact an emergency vehicle if needed. \
4. There will be an on-call transport vehicle available near the finish area to respond to emergencies on the course.
5. An EMT team will be available near the registration area.

5K – start 9:00 AM

1. There are no water stops on this course, but water and sports drink will be available at the finish line.
2. Volunteers will be at most turns directing runners
3. There will be a lead bike and a sweep bike who can contact an emergency vehicle if needed.
4. There will be an on-call transport vehicle available near the finish area to respond to emergencies on the course.
5. An EMT team will be available near the registration area.

1-Mile – start 10:00 AM

1. There are no water stops on this course, but water will be available at the finish line.
2. Volunteers will be at most turns directing runners
3. There will be a lead bike.
4. There will be an on-call transport vehicle available near the finish area to respond to emergencies on the course.
5. An EMT team will be available near the registration area.

Results/Awards

1. Results will be posted at various times near the registration area. Check them for accuracy.
2. Awards will begin between 10:30 and 11 am. Once awards start the results are final.
3. We will have some food, water, and sports drink near the registration tables following your race.

We do not mail awards. Have someone pick them up if you can’t be there.
